ALGAEFREE model Marine system worked through the winter and spring and the bow thruster worked as it should – when we took out the boat after 16 months there was very little fouling left says Jeanette and Arve Rosenvinge to Boat World.
Our boat had been at sea from the previous season – and on 11 April 2014 the Boat World Magazine invited La-Sa Marine Services in Oslo to see the result. I was very excited to see the boat findings for the one season using ALGAEFREE Marine. Both negotiators Glenn Engen at La-Sa Boat and Motor AS, and Paal Stensrud at Stensrud Marine and boat owners Arve and Jeanette Rosenvinge were happy to find their 38ft boat without barnacles or weed, even the bellows and stern drive were completely without fouling. They had only to flush the dirt for aesthetic reasons says owner Arve Rosenvinge.

The boat owners at first thought it was too good to be true but were happily surprised to find the boat had been in the water for 16 months says Odde Rolfen import/exporter of ALGAEFREE Marine worldwide.

Algae and barnacles grow happily on the sterndrive bellows of boats and can cause serious damage by cutting through the bellows which could cause the boat to sink. Odde Rolfsen says it has taken a long time to market ALGAEFREE MARINE Ultrasound systems and many sceptics believed the results to be too good to be true.

Therefore, it is gratifying to see that we are now seeing a greater demand for ALGAEFREE MARINE Ultrasound systems. Odde Rolfsen says he also has a ‘heavy duty’ Ultrasound system intended for larger ships and also jetties.
