Ultrasound is a great method to combat and control Algae in the pit dewatering
on a mine site to eliminate and avoid blockage on the RO site.
Mining wastewater, Mining impacted waters (MIWs), and water based mine tailings are full of contaminants
that must be dealt with before their release back into the natural environment but must also be maintained
while recycling this water into mining operations due to excessive often unpreventable leaching into the natural
water supply. Mine operations often face excessive scrutiny from protective organizations due to the massive
use of water and the existing need of this resource both in agriculture and for drinking purposes. Mining operations
are becoming increasingly aware of the need to be profitable while being stewards of water resources. ALGAEFREE
technology helps remediate mining tailings in a quicker fashion by accelerating it’s return to neutral pH levels,

What happens to the waste algae?
The waste algae becomes less buoyant and sinks to the bottom of the body of water. In aquifers, lakes, ponds, dhe
other bodies of water, the waste algae get eaten and reabsorbed by the local wildlife. In swimming pools, aquifers,
and other water retention systems, the filtration systems remove the remnants.
What is cavitation?
Cavitation is a phenomenon in which rapid changes in water pressure result in the formation of small
vapor-filled “voids”. When again subjected to higher pressure, these voids collapse and generate
shock waves capable of damaging nearby equipment and structures.
Why is cavitation bad for algae management?
If algae is growing near a cavitation void, the resulting shockwave damages the outer cell wall of the algae, releasing
all of the toxins into the water. This can lead to massive fish kills and the destruction of the water
ecology. That’s why ALPHA don’t make cavitation.

Bio film is bacteria that attach permanently to almost all type of surfaces and colonize reversibly
