Where can ultrasound control algae growth?

Ultrasound can actually control algae growth everywhere there is a algae problem. Our different systems cover  all applications.  

What is the benefits with ultrasound as water treatment?

Ultrasound replaces chemicals, is cost saving and is the most effective and sustainable solution to clean the water and it is 100% green and environmentally friendly.  

Is ultrasound harmful for humans?

No ultrasound is totally harmless for humans. 

Is ultrasound harmful for fish?

No 100% harmless. Fish Farming Companies all over the world use ultrasound on shore and off shore as a fish welfare. That’s because  toxic algae will normally sits in the fish gill and the result is often that lots of fish will die. Ultrasound will kill the algae so the farming fish can breath normally. There have been no reported negative effects.

What sorts of algae is toxic?

Blue-green algae is toxic and can kill fish, harm wildlife and humans.

How is the ultrasound system works?

Ultrasound device uses high frequency ultrasound sound waves and when the waves hit the algae it tears the cell membranes and the water leaks into the algae so the algae will drown and sink to the bottom and decompose. 

What will ultrasound prevent?

Ultrasound prevent bio film, bacteria (including legionella), odours and algae growth wherever needed.

How long will it take to work?

It depends upon how much algae growth you have. Typically it takes 3 to 4 weeks before you will begin to see a significant change. For the fish farm cages it will take from 4 to 8 weeks.

What model and size unit will I need?

The size and model you need depends upon the size of the area and waterflow. We will design the right model and how many transducers you will need if you send us more information (with pictures and drawings). This quote is completely free of charge.
