CLEAN SWIMMINGPOOL WITH 70% LESS CHLORINE! EASY TO INSTALL
Cut Chemical & Maintenance Costs from Day One!
READ TROY TROLLESKE (CUSTOMERS VIDEO REFERENCE) 2025
We have a large concrete pool, measuring 14m x 6m (~160kL), which we maintain as naturally as possible
using magnetic water treatment and minimal chlorine. To further enhance our pool maintenance system,
we installed the ALGAEFREE ULTRASOUND SYSTEM device. Given the pool’s size, there were areas where
algae tendedto develop more easily. However, within days to weeks of installing the Algaefree device, we
noticed a significant reduction in algae growth. The difference was clear. Odde from ALGAEFREE was a
pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, providing excellent service from purchase to installation.
Cheers,
Troy Trolleske
TESTING THE ALPHA QUATTRO DB BLU 4-Ways
On 11 April 2025, we began testing the ALPHA QUATTRO DB BLU in a swimming pool containing a high concentration of algae. The trial aimed to evaluate its effectiveness in breaking down algal biomass and document biochemical and visual changes over time.
PHOTOS TAKEN 3 WEEKS AFTER INSTALLATION

ALGAE COLLECTED AFTER ULTRASOUND TREATMENT
This photo shows a clump of algal material removed from the treated water. Changes in colour and texture may indicate deterioration, but appearance alone cannot confirm that all algae are dead or incapable of regrowth.
Removing accumulated material helps clear the water and reduces the organic matter remaining in the system.
WHAT MAY HAPPEN DURING TREATMENT?
Depending on the algae present and treatment conditions, changes may include:
-
Reduced algae growth.
-
Changes in colour and structure.
-
Algal material collecting at the surface or settling.
-
Gradual improvements in water clarity.
Results vary with the species present, water conditions, ultrasound output and installation.
ALGAE CONTROL IN SWIMMING POOLS
Algae can develop in pool water and on walls and floors, particularly when sanitation, circulation or filtration is inadequate.
The ALPHA ultrasound system is designed to help manage susceptible algae as part of a complete pool-maintenance programme.
Ultrasound does not replace pool disinfection, filtration, brushing or water testing. Maintaining appropriate disinfectant levels and pH remains essential for swimmer safety.
HOW ALPHA ULTRASOUND WORKS
ALPHA systems transmit selected sound frequencies through water to help control susceptible algae. Their Critical Structure Resonance (CSR) technology is designed to target susceptible structures within algae cells.
Performance depends on the organisms present, acoustic coverage and operating conditions.
WATER-MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS
ALGAEFREE offers a chemical-free approach to algae treatment that can complement filtration, cleaning and other water-management measures.
Managing algae buildup can help reduce fouling in pumps, filters and processing equipment.
RESULTS OVER TIME
Monitor progress through photographs, water testing and maintenance records. Claims about treatment speed, chemical savings or water-quality improvements should reflect measured results from the relevant installation.
EASY INSTALLATION
Our systems are supplied pre-assembled for convenient installation, with mains-powered and solar-powered options available.
A one-time equipment investment for ongoing algae management.
CLEAR WATER, HAPPY OWNER — ENJOY YOUR POOL AGAIN!

SWIMMER SAFETY STARTS WITH PROPER POOL CARE
Regular cleaning, effective filtration, balanced water chemistry and adequate disinfection are essential for swimmer safety. Clear water alone does not confirm that a pool is safe to swim in. Maintaining appropriate disinfectant levels and pH helps protect swimmers from waterborne illness.
ALGAEFREE ULTRASOUND SYSTEM
Our ultrasonic algae-management systems are designed to help control susceptible algae and support clearer pool water, with low power consumption and minimal routine maintenance.
Ultrasound treats algae without adding chemicals, making it a useful addition to a complete pool-care programme. Any reduction in algae-treatment chemicals should be based on verified performance and professional advice.
Continue normal pool disinfection, filtration and water testing. Ultrasound should not be presented as a replacement for sanitation or as a proven treatment for insects, parasites or disease-causing microorganisms.
HELP CONTROL ALGAE — ENJOY A CLEARER POOL

INSECTS DISAPPEARED WITHIN THREE DAYS — A COMMUNITY POOL’S EXPERIENCE
Despite draining and chlorinating the pool, the community reported that insects remained in the water.
After installing a single ALPHA ultrasonic algae-control system, they reported improvement within one day. Within three days, the insects were no longer observed.
Reduced algae or biofilm may have affected their food supply, although the reason for their disappearance was not confirmed.
ULTRASOUND FOR ALGAE CONTROL — SUPPORTING CLEARER PUBLIC POOLS
Swimmer safety requires effective disinfection, filtration and regular water testing. Any reduction in chlorine dosing must maintain the applicable public-pool water-quality requirements.
