WHY KEEP PAYING FOR COSTLY CHEMICALS?
Choose ultrasound — a one-time equipment investment for long-term algae control.
THE 2026 DB-GLOBE AND DB-360 LINEUP IS HERE
Stronger, smarter technology with higher frequencies and broader bandwidths.
ALGAEFREE introduces its latest ultrasound technology, combining increased output, expanded frequency options and enhanced system monitoring.
Improved electrical conversion efficiency delivers greater ultrasound output. Selected models offer enhanced communication capabilities, adjustable bandwidths and frequency settings, giving users greater flexibility and control.
Operational checks and error reporting help verify system function and identify faults.
The technology uses Critical Structure Resonance (CSR), designed to target susceptible algae and microorganisms through selected ultrasound frequencies. Finer frequency adjustments expand the available settings for different treatment conditions.

A chemical-free approach to algae control — designed to help reduce ongoing treatment and maintenance costs.

ALPHA ULTRASOUND FOR GOLF COURSE WATER MANAGEMENT
Since their introduction in 2016, ALPHA QUATTRO systems have offered a broad range of discrete frequencies and bandwidth settings for algae control.
ALPHA MEZZO 2-Ways AND ALPHA QUATTRO 4-Ways
These ultrasound systems are designed to help control algae and biofilm in golf course ponds, lakes and water hazards, supporting cleaner water and helping reduce maintenance demands.
Ultrasound offers a chemical-free approach to algae management, including treatment of susceptible blue-green algae. Results depend on the organisms present, water conditions and installation.
Visible algae reduction does not confirm that algal toxins have been removed. Water testing is needed to assess safety.
RENTAL OPTIONS AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA
Mains-powered and solar-powered options are available.

Less maintenance. Lower labour costs. A one-time equipment investment.
Results may become visible within weeks, depending on water conditions and the organisms present.
HOW ULTRASOUND WORKS
ALPHA ultrasound systems transmit selected sound frequencies through water to help control susceptible algae and biofilm.
The systems use Critical Structure Resonance (CSR) technology, designed to target susceptible structures within algae cells. Effectiveness depends on the species present, ultrasound output, exposure time and installation.
By helping control algae and biofilm, ALPHA supports cleaner submerged surfaces and reduced maintenance demands.

RESULTS AT THIS GOLF COURSE AFTER JUST 3 WEEKS
ALPHA ultrasound offers a chemical-free approach to algae control in golf course ponds and water hazards, helping manage algae growth in the water and on submerged surfaces.
By reducing algae buildup, the system can help maintain cleaner water and reduce maintenance demands.
Where confirmed by site testing, ultrasound may also reduce the need for chemical algae treatments. Results depend on water conditions, the algae present and installation.

Managing weed growth helps keep golf course ponds and irrigation dams clear.

WEED PROBLEMS IN A FARMER’S IRRIGATION DAM — GATTON, QLD
The farmer first removed the existing weeds from the dam before installing the ALGAEFREE ultrasound system in November 2022.

Excessive weed growth in the irrigation dam blocked the sand filter, preventing the farmer from using the dam water for irrigation.

THE DAM ONE YEAR AFTER INSTALLING THE ALPHA ULTRASOUND SYSTEM

The water remains clear, with no further weed growth or blockages reported.
In October 2024, the same farmer installed another ALPHA ultrasound system in his second irrigation dam.
